Anything I should be worried about? Any quirks, common problems or things that aren't good about it?

Good cars at a good value. Check out this PDF . Watch for rust around the headlamps and sills. Slow but nice.

Check the bottom of the fenders, doors, and behind the rear wheels for rust. Also have a look in the area of the hood hinges, there are drains that get plugged so they collect water in the wells there. It's a Euro car, so it might not have ACC, but make sure the climate control functions work because all the vacuum tees & diaphragms crumble with age. Make sure the idle is smooth, the multi-piece intake plenums are notorious for developing vacuum leaks. I've only ever seen a couple of US market SLCs here, but both showed some delamination & trapped moisture in the rear 1/4 windows around the slats. I'm not sure if this is because of a weatherstrip issue or not, because it's all hidden under the bright trim. The seats are often flat, but if properly stuffed are very comfortable. At moderate to high load, the trans should shift at the I, II, III marks on the speedo. Shifts should be firm but not too aggressive. They can be tuned to chirp 2nd.

I doubt anything can be found out just by pictures but it looks fairly clean and low-ish mileage. I'll have my Mercedes expert take a look at all those things, it is a manual though so less (possible) problems.

About as solid of a classic car buy as can be had. This is one of only a handful of classic cars that can easily be driven every day. I don't find them to be any more prone to rust than other cars of the era, and less so in some cases.
If it's a true euro-market 350, it has more powerful higher compression engine.

Cool! The actual numerical HP difference isn't massive (though it is notable) however have a smaller, higher compression V8 changes the character of the car a bit - for the better, IMO.

They sure look a lot better in Euro trim than with the huge bumpers & headlights we got. I've never cared for the shifter feel of the manuals, but they're definitely reliable, and if it's a 5-speed the box alone is worth a fair bit of money.

As with everyone's tips rust is a major factor, also the timing chain and tensioners wear a lot in these v8s. This is an interference engine so when the chain skips a tooth on timing, say goodbye to your valves and head.
